As homes and buildings become more and more insulated and sealed there is a need to introduce ventilation to keep the environment comfortable to live in and keep condensation levels low and air changes constant.
With energy efficiency a consideration, ventilation with heat recovery is considered the best way to introduce air into a building without removing all the warm air from within it.
Berrys are Bpec registered and qualified to design and install ventilation systems whether or is a simple extract unit or a whole house heat recovery installation to new or existing buildings. We can offer advice on a range of appliances and systems that can make your environment much cleaner and healthier to live in.
Heat recovery appliances extract air form a building and pass it through a heat exchanger to recover some of the extracted heat. The new fresh incoming air is then passed over this heat exchanger to recover some of the heat before it is discharged into the building.
This not only makes them more energy efficient but provides an air change within the building.
Our systems are quiet, efficient and provide fresh, filtered air improving the indoor air quality and reducing dust and allergen levels.
More air tight construction methods can result in poor indoor air quality as condensation and pollutants from cooking, cleaning and washing remain trapped inside the home.
